4. Setup

4.1 Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge both 21V Max Lithium-Ion batteries. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and then connect the battery to the charger. The charging indicator on the battery will show its status. A full charge typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

4.2 Chainsaw Assembly (if required)

Your chainsaw may come with the chain pre-installed. Ensure the chain is oriented correctly with the cutting teeth facing the direction of rotation.

4.3 Chain Tension Adjustment

4.4 Chain Lubrication

Apply a small amount of oil directly to the chain and guide bar to ensure smooth operation and prevent premature wear.

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, charged, and lubricated, your Tomyvic Mini Electric Chainsaw is ready for use. Always wear safety glasses and gloves during operation.

5.1 Starting the Chainsaw

1. Insert a fully charged battery into the battery slot until it clicks into place.
2. Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand on the ergonomic handle.
3. Press and hold the safety lock button (usually located on the side of the handle).
4. While holding the safety lock, press the trigger switch to start the chainsaw. Release the safety lock once the chain begins to move.

5.2 Cutting Techniques

The Tomyvic Mini Electric Chainsaw is designed for cutting branches up to approximately 4 inches in thickness. Its high-power copper motor provides efficient cutting at 19.2 ft/s chain speed.

• Trimming Branches: For smaller branches, position the chainsaw firmly against the branch and allow the chain to do the work. Avoid forcing the saw.
• Cutting Logs/Firewood: For logs up to 4 inches, ensure the log is stable and elevated if possible. Make a smooth, steady cut.
• One-Handed Operation: The lightweight design (2.51 lbs) allows for comfortable one-handed use, but always maintain a secure grip and stable footing.

5.3 Stopping the Chainsaw

Release the trigger switch to stop the chainsaw. Always engage the safety lock after use and before setting the tool down.
