Setup and Assembly

Assembly Steps:

3. Attach the mesh shelves to the frame. Note that each mesh shelf can be installed either flat or angled. The side frames have different screw holes to accommodate your preferred orientation. For flat shelves, align the holes accordingly. For angled shelves, use the higher set of holes on one side and lower on the other.
4. Secure the two particleboard top panels to the top of the assembled frame using the designated screws.
5. Attach the adjustable feet to the bottom of the frame. Adjust them as needed to ensure the shoe rack is stable and level on your floor.
6. Install the anti-tip kit by securing one end to the top rear of the shoe rack and the other end to a sturdy wall stud. This step is crucial for safety.

Operating Instructions

The VASAGLE Shoe Rack is designed for straightforward use.

• Shoe Storage: Place shoes on the mesh shelves. The 8-inch distance between shelves is suitable for heels and high-tops. Each shelf can hold up to 25 lbs.
• Top Surface Use: The spacious particleboard top surface has a maximum load capacity of 60 lbs. It can be used for bags, decorative items, books, or other entryway essentials.
• Adjustable Shelves: Utilize the adjustable shelf feature to customize storage. Shelves can be set flat or angled to prevent shoes from scuffing the wall, thanks to the raised edge design.

Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your shoe rack:

• Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Stability Check: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
• Load Capacity: Do not exceed the stated weight limits (60 lbs on top surface, 25 lbs per mesh shelf) to prevent damage or instability.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your shoe rack, consider the following:

• Wobbling/Instability:
  • Ensure all screws are securely tightened.
  • Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the frame to compensate for uneven flooring.
  • Verify the anti-tip kit is correctly installed and secured to the wall.
• Difficulty Assembling Shelves:
  • Double-check the orientation of the side frames and shelves. The holes for flat vs. angled installation are different.
