  • To switch between User 1 and User 2, press the user selection button (typically indicated by two person icons).
  • To review historical records, press the MEM SET button. You can navigate through past readings by date and time.

Cuff Sizing and Placement

Accurate blood pressure readings depend significantly on using the correct cuff size and proper placement. The AQESO monitor includes two cuffs to accommodate a wide range of arm sizes:

  • M/L Cuff: Fits arm circumferences from 9" to 17".
  • XL Cuff: Fits arm circumferences from 13" to 21".

How to Measure Arm Circumference

To determine the correct cuff size, use a cloth tape measure. Place the tape at the midpoint between your elbow and shoulder, wrapping it around the circumference of your upper arm.

Cuff Placement

Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings:

  1. Place the cuff on your upper arm, approximately one inch (2-3 cm) above the bend of your elbow.
  2. Ensure the air tube falls over the front center of your arm, so the sensor is correctly positioned over your brachial artery.
  3. Pull the end of the cuff to ensure it is evenly and snugly (but not too tightly) wrapped around your arm.

Understanding Your Readings

The AQESO monitor features a colorful WHO (World Health Organization) classification bar on the left side of the display. This bar helps you interpret your blood pressure readings at a glance:

  • Green: Normal Blood Pressure
  • Yellow: High-Normal Blood Pressure
  • Red: Serious Pressure (Hypertension)

Consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice based on your readings.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • Storage: Store the blood pressure monitor and cuffs in the included carrying bag when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace all four AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
