3. Safety Information

  • Always ensure proper insulation between red (positive) and black (negative) wires to prevent short circuits.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Blomiky Watt Meter:

  1. Identify Connections: The watt meter has two main connection sides: 'SOURCE' and 'LOAD'. The 'SOURCE' side connects to your power supply (e.g., battery), and the 'LOAD' side connects to the device you want to power and measure.
  2. Connect Power Source: Connect the red wire from the 'SOURCE' side to the positive terminal of your power supply and the black wire to the negative terminal.
  3. Connect Load: Connect the red wire from the 'LOAD' side to the positive input of your device and the black wire to the negative input.

6. Operating Instructions

Once properly connected, the watt meter will automatically begin displaying measurements.

  1. Real-time Display: The LCD screen will show real-time values. The top line typically displays accumulated Capacity (Ah) and instantaneous Voltage (V). The second line cycles through instantaneous Amperage (A), Wattage (W), Amp-peak (Ap), Watt-peak (Wp), and Volt-minimum (Vm).
  2. Monitoring Peak Values: The watt meter continuously monitors and records the maximum current (Ap), maximum power (Wp), and minimum voltage (Vm) observed during the measurement session. These values are useful for analyzing system performance and identifying potential issues.
  3. Resetting Accumulated Values: To clear the accumulated Capacity (Ah) and Energy (Wh) readings, simply disconnect the power source from the watt meter and then reconnect it. This will reset the values for a new measurement cycle.

  • Incorrect readings:
