This versatile product is designed to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for your newborn, functioning as a freestanding bassinet, a bedside sleeper, and a rocking cradle. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper operation and safety.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD

• Always use the mattress provided by the manufacturer. Do not add extra padding, pillows, or blankets under or over the mattress, as this can cause suffocation.
• Ensure all assembly steps are completed correctly and all parts are securely fastened before placing a child in the bassinet.
• Never leave a child unattended in the bassinet.
• Discontinue use when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or reaches 20 pounds, or is 6 months old, whichever comes first.
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
• When used as a bedside sleeper, ensure the bassinet is securely attached to the adult bed using the provided fastening straps. There should be no gap between the bassinet and the adult mattress.
• Always ensure the side rail is fully raised and locked when not in bedside sleeper mode.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is designed to be quick and easy, requiring no tools.

1. Install the Feet: Attach the leg assemblies to the main bassinet frame. Ensure they click securely into place.
2. Insert the Fixing Bar: Connect the fixing bar between the two leg assemblies at the bottom.
3. Attach the Support Bar: Secure the support bar to the underside of the bassinet frame.
4. Attach Safety Straps: Fasten the safety straps to the designated loops on the bassinet frame. These are used for bedside sleeper mode.
5. Insert the Mattress: Place the provided mattress into the bassinet. Secure it using the internal straps to prevent shifting.

Operating Instructions

1. Converting to Cradle Mode

To convert the bassinet into a rocking cradle, hold the release button on each leg assembly and turn the wheels upwards. This allows the curved base of the legs to rock gently.

2. Adjusting Height

The bassinet offers 5 adjustable height settings to match the height of your adult bed. Locate the height adjustment buttons on the side of the leg assemblies. Press the buttons and slide the bassinet up or down to your desired height. Ensure both sides are adjusted to the same level.

3. Bedside Sleeper Mode

For bedside sleeper functionality, adjust the bassinet height to align with your adult mattress. Unzip and lower one side panel of the bassinet. Use the provided fastening straps to securely attach the bassinet to your adult bed frame, ensuring there are no gaps. The retractable feet can also be adjusted to fit closer to the bed.

4. Moving the Bassinet

The bassinet is equipped with 4 universal wheels for easy movement between rooms. Each wheel has a brake. To move the bassinet, unlock the wheel brakes. To secure it in place, engage the wheel brakes.

Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your INFANS bassinet, follow these care instructions:

• Fabric Cleaning: The fabric components are secured by durable zippers and can be removed for cleaning. Hand wash only. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean.
• Frame Cleaning: Wipe the iron pipe frame and plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
• Mattress Care: The mattress cover can be removed and hand washed. Ensure the mattress is completely dry before reinserting into the bassinet.
• Regular Inspection: Periodically check all parts for wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Discontinue use if any part is broken or missing.

Troubleshooting

• Bassinet feels unstable: Ensure all leg assemblies and support bars are fully clicked into place. Check that the wheel brakes are engaged when stationary.
• Difficulty adjusting height: Make sure the adjustment buttons on both sides are pressed simultaneously and the mechanism is free of obstructions.
• Mattress not lying flat: Ensure the mattress is correctly positioned and secured with its internal straps. Remove any foreign objects from beneath the mattress.
• Side rail not lowering/raising smoothly: Check for any fabric or debris obstructing the zipper or the lowering mechanism. Ensure the buttons are fully depressed.
