2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using this product. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• While the speaker is IPX7 waterproof, it is designed to withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Do not submerge it for extended periods or in depths greater than 1 meter. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposure to water.

Control Panel Functions:

• Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to play/pause.
• Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
• Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
• Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, AUX, USB Disk, and TF Card modes.
• Play/Pause Button (⏸): Short press to play/pause.
• Bluetooth Indicator Light: Indicates Bluetooth status (flashing for pairing, solid for connected).

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. The charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.

1. Open the rubber cover protecting the ports.
2. Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port.
3. Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

5.2 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

Connect your Xdobo Hero speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device.

1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue LED light.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
3. Search for "Xdobo Hero" in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
4. Select "Xdobo Hero" to connect. Once connected, the blue LED light will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
5. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

6.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

Pair two Xdobo Hero speakers for a stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both Xdobo Hero speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Power button. You will hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED on the primary speaker will flash, while the secondary speaker's LED will be solid.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 6.1.

6.3 AUX Mode

Use the speaker with devices that do not have Bluetooth capability.

1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX audio cable to the speaker's AUX port.
2. Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
3. Short press the Mode button (M) on the speaker until it enters AUX mode.
4. Audio will now play through the speaker. Control playback from your connected device.

6.4 USB Disk / TF Card Mode

Play music directly from a USB flash drive or TF (Micro SD) card.

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a TF card into the TF card slot.
2. Short press the Mode button (M) on the speaker until it enters USB Disk or TF Card mode.
3. The speaker will automatically begin playing audio files from the inserted storage device.
4. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons for track navigation (long press) and volume control (short press).

6.5 Power Bank Function

Use the Xdobo Hero's 6600mAh battery to charge other devices.

1. Connect your device's charging cable (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the USB port on the Xdobo Hero speaker.
2. The speaker will automatically begin charging your connected device.
3. Note: Using the power bank function will consume the speaker's battery.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure port covers are closed when cleaning with a damp cloth.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for a long period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
• Water Protection: Always ensure the rubber port cover is securely sealed when using the speaker near water or in wet conditions to maintain its IPX7 waterproof rating.
