2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your grill for first use:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or shipping if needed.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Wash the grill plate, griddle plate, glass lid, drip tray, and silver heat reflector with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the main grill unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble: Place the silver heat reflector into the main unit. Insert the drip tray into the base of the grill unit.
  4. Add Water: Pour approximately 2 cups of water into the drip tray. This water helps to reduce smoke during cooking.
  5. Install Cooking Plate: Choose either the grill plate or the griddle plate and place it securely on top of the heating element.
  6. Position: Place the assembled grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your CUSIMAX Smokeless Indoor Electric Grill is straightforward:

  1. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Power On: Press the Power Button (U) on the LED Smart Display to turn on the grill.
  3. Activate Fan: Press the Fan Button (F) to activate the turbo smoke extraction fan. This is crucial for minimizing smoke during cooking.
  4. Set Temperature: Use the Up (^) and Down (v) arrows to adjust the cooking temperature. The temperature range is from 200°F to 450°F (93°C to 232°C). Allow the grill to preheat for 5-10 minutes until it reaches the desired temperature.
  5. Place Food: Carefully place your food onto the preheated grill or griddle plate.
  6. Use Lid (Optional): For faster cooking and heat retention, you may place the tempered glass lid over the cooking plate.
  7. Monitor Cooking: Cook food to your desired doneness. The transparent glass lid allows you to monitor progress without lifting.
  8. Power Off: Once cooking is complete, press the Power Button (U) to turn off the heating element. Allow the fan to run for a few minutes after cooking to clear any remaining smoke, then press the Fan Button (F) to turn it off. Unplug the appliance from the outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your grill. Always unplug the grill and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  • Detachable Parts: The glass lid, grill plate, griddle plate, silver heat reflector, and drip tray are all removable for easy cleaning.
  • Dishwasher Safe: These detachable parts are dishwasher safe. For best results, place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
