4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB charging cable. The mouse will charge while connected. The LED indicator will show charging status.
4.2 Wireless Connection
- Insert the wireless receiver (dongle) into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the bottom of the device.
- The mouse should automatically connect to the receiver. If not, ensure the receiver is properly inserted and the mouse is powered on.
4.3 Wired Connection
To use the mouse in wired mode, connect the USB charging cable from the mouse's Micro USB port to your computer's USB port. The mouse will function as a wired device and charge simultaneously.
4.4 Software Installation
For advanced customization, download the official G-Wolves software from the manufacturer's website. The software allows adjustment of DPI, polling rate, LOD, RGB lighting, debounce time, macros, and more.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 DPI Adjustment
The mouse features a dedicated DPI Loop button (Button 4) to cycle through preset DPI levels. Default DPI levels range from 50 to 20,000 CPI. Customize these levels and their corresponding RGB colors using the G-Wolves software.
5.2 Polling Rate
The G-Wolves HTS Plus 4K supports a maximum reporting rate of 4000Hz. This can be adjusted via the software. A higher polling rate provides more responsive tracking but may consume more battery power.
5.3 Button Customization
All six buttons (Left, Right, Middle, DPI Loop, Forward, Backward) can be reprogrammed using the G-Wolves software. This includes assigning macros, media controls, or other functions.
5.4 Lift-Off Distance (LOD)
Adjust the Lift-Off Distance (LOD) through the software to control how high the mouse can be lifted before tracking stops. Options typically include Low and High settings.
5.5 Debounce Time
The debounce time for the mouse switches can be adjusted in the software. Lowering the debounce time can reduce click latency but may increase the chance of accidental double-clicks.
5.6 Onboard Profiles
The mouse supports up to 4 onboard profiles, allowing you to save different configurations for DPI, button assignments, and other settings directly to the mouse. These profiles can be switched without software running.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Regularly clean the optical sensor area to maintain tracking accuracy.
6.2 Battery Care
The mouse uses a Lithium Polymer battery. For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge the mouse when the battery indicator shows low power. Store the mouse in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
6.3 Replacing Mouse Skates
The included extra PTFE skates can be used to replace worn-out skates. Carefully peel off the old skates and apply the new ones, ensuring the surface is clean and dry for proper adhesion. Teflon dot skates are also provided for further customization of glide.
7. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the mouse is powered on using the switch on the bottom.
- Check battery level and charge if necessary.
- Verify the wireless receiver is securely plugged into a USB port.
- Try a different USB port for the receiver or the wired connection.
- Restart your computer.
- Intermittent connection or lag:
- Ensure the wireless receiver is close to the mouse and not obstructed by metal objects.
- Avoid using the mouse near other strong wireless interference sources (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless devices).

- Tracking issues:
- Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (a mouse pad is recommended).
