3. Camera Overview
The CammPro I826 Pro is a robust body-worn camera designed for reliable recording in various environments. It features a 2-inch LCD display, 140-degree wide-angle lens, and infrared night vision capabilities.

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
Before initial use, fully charge the camera battery. Connect the camera to the charging dock, then connect the dock to the USB wall charger using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2 Attaching the Clip
Attach either the universal metal clip or the epaulet clip to the back of the camera. Ensure the clip is securely fastened to allow for proper body-worn placement.
4.3 Initial Power On and Settings
- Press and hold the Power button to turn on the camera.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to set the date, time, and language.
- Access the menu to configure recording resolution, night vision settings, and other preferences. Refer to the "Operation" section for detailed menu navigation.
5. Operation
5.1 Recording Video
To start video recording, press the dedicated Record button. The camera will provide audible, visual, and vibration feedback to indicate recording has begun. Press the Record button again to stop recording.
5.2 Activating Night Vision
The camera is equipped with infrared LEDs for night vision. Night vision can be activated manually through the menu or set to automatic mode, where it will engage in low-light conditions.
5.3 GPS Functionality
The integrated GPS module automatically embeds location coordinates into your video recordings. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS signal acquisition.
5.4 Data Transfer and Management
To transfer recorded data to a computer:
- Connect the camera to your PC using the original USB cable.
- If a password interface appears on the camera screen, enter the default password (000000) by pressing the "OK" button six times to access the camera's storage.
- The camera will appear as a removable disk on your computer. You can then copy or delete video files as needed.
Note: Driver or software is not required for simple data management (copying/deleting files).
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Camera
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and lens. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.
6.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Store the camera in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
6.3 Firmware Updates
Periodically check the manufacturer's website for available firmware updates. Updates can improve performance, add features, or resolve issues.
7. Troubleshooting
- Issue: Camera freezes or buttons are unresponsive.
- Solution: Press the reset button located under the middle rubber port. This will restart the camera. Only use this button for abnormal operation.
- Issue: Auxiliary camera cable does not fit the port.
- Solution: Ensure you are using a CammPro compatible auxiliary camera. Third-party auxiliary camera cables may not fit the port correctly.
- Issue: Unable to organize or delete videos.
- Solution:
- Connect the camera to a PC using the original USB cable.
- When the password input interface appears on the camera screen, press the "OK" button six times (default password is 000000) to access the camera's storage.
- Locate the removable disk on your computer to copy or delete videos.
- Issue: Management software does not run on my computer.
- Solution:
- The management software is compatible with Windows computers only.
- The software is primarily for changing ID and password settings, which may not be necessary for personal use.
- If installation is required, ensure the driver is successfully installed. Do not enter a password on the camera when using the software.
- Issue: Forgot the new password after changing it.
- Solution: Contact CammPro customer support for assistance with password recovery.
- Issue: Camera displays "Card fragment fail".
- Solution: Connect the camera to a computer, access its memory, and format the storage (this will delete all data).
