1. Introduction

The Realtree Bright Lantern Light is a compact and versatile lighting solution designed for outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. Boasting 150 lumens of light, it provides illumination where and when you need it. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your lantern.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the lantern.
2. Twist the cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
3. Insert three (3) AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The lantern comes with batteries included.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

2.2 Placement Options

The lantern features a rugged magnetic base and recessed folding hooks for hands-free versatility.

• Magnetic Base: Attach the lantern to any suitable metallic surface for stable illumination.
• Folding Hooks: Extend the integrated hooks to hang the lantern from tent loops, branches, or other elevated points.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off and Light Modes

The lantern features a single power button located on its top surface to control power and switch between light modes.

1. To Turn On: Press the power button once. The lantern will activate in High mode.
2. To Change Modes: While the lantern is on, press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the modes: High → Low → Strobe.
3. To Turn Off: After cycling through all modes, pressing the button again will turn the lantern off. Alternatively, if the lantern has been in one mode for more than 5 seconds, a single press will turn it off.

3.2 Run Time

The lantern provides approximately 6 hours of continuous run time on a fresh set of 3 AAA batteries.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

When the light output diminishes, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 2.1 to replace the three (3) AAA batteries. Always use fresh batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the lantern, wipe its exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.

4.3 Storage

Store the lantern in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.

4.4 Water Resistance

The lantern has an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction. It is not designed to be submerged in water. Avoid exposing the lantern to heavy rain or submersion.

5. Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace the batteries with a fresh set.
• Light is dim or flickers:
  • The batteries may be low. Replace them with a fresh set.
