Setup

1. Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the camera. Insert the BLS-50 Lithium Ion battery with the contacts facing inward, ensuring it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.

2. Memory Card Insertion

Locate the memory card slot, typically near the battery compartment. Insert a compatible SD card (SDHC/SDXC recommended) until it locks. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation to avoid damage.

3. Lens Attachment

Align the white dot on the lens with the white dot on the camera's Micro Four Thirds mount. Gently push the lens into the mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks, indicating it is securely locked. To detach, press the lens release button on the camera body and rotate the lens counter-clockwise.

4. Initial Power On

After installing the battery and memory card, turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The camera will power on, and you may be prompted to set the date, time, and language for the first time.
