4.2 Rear View and Ports

The rear panel of the monitor houses the various input and output ports, as well as the control buttons for the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Refer to Figure 4.5 for port locations.

5. Setup

5.1 Assembling the Stand

1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel by aligning the tabs and pushing firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Attach the stand base to the stand neck. Secure it with the provided screw, if applicable.
4. Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.

5.2 Connecting Cables

1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input port, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
2. Video Connection:
   • For HDMI: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your computer's graphics card and the other end to the HDMI port on the monitor.
   • For VGA: Connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA port on your computer's graphics card and the other end to the VGA port on the monitor.
3. Ensure all connections are secure.

5.3 Initial Power-On

1. Press the power button on the monitor (usually located on the lower right side or underside).
2. The monitor will power on and automatically detect the active input source. If no signal is detected, check your cable connections and computer's display settings.

6. Operating the Monitor

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.

6.2 OSD Menu Navigation

The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. The control buttons are typically located on the rear or underside of the monitor.

• Press the Menu button to open the OSD menu.
• Use the Up/Down or Left/Right buttons to navigate through menu options.
• Press the Enter or OK button to select an option or confirm a setting.
• Press the Exit button to close the OSD menu or go back to the previous level.

6.3 Picture Settings

Within the OSD menu, you can adjust the following picture settings:
