4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the washing machine for any damage incurred during transit. Keep packaging materials away from children.
4.2 Location and Leveling
Place the washing machine on a solid, level floor. Avoid direct sunlight or excessively humid environments. Use the adjustable leveling feet to ensure the machine is perfectly stable and balanced. An unbalanced machine can cause excessive vibration and noise.
4.3 Water Connection
Connect the inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4-inch thread. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The water pressure should be between 0.05 MPa and 1 MPa.
4.4 Drain Hose Installation
Position the drain hose correctly to ensure proper water drainage. The drain hose should be placed at a height between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor. Do not kink or block the drain hose.
4.5 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The power supply should be 220-240V~/60Hz. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Loading Laundry
Open the lid and load clothes loosely into the drum. Do not overload the machine; ensure there is enough space for clothes to move freely. For optimal results, sort laundry by fabric type and color.
5.2 Adding Detergent and Softener
Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the detergent dispenser. If using fabric softener, add it to the designated compartment. Refer to detergent packaging for recommended quantities.
5.3 Selecting a Wash Program
Close the lid. Turn on the washing machine. Use the control panel to select one of the 8 available wash programs based on your laundry needs. The LED display will show the selected program and remaining time.
5.4 Starting the Wash Cycle
Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle. The machine will automatically fill with water, wash, rinse, and spin. You can pause the cycle at any time by pressing the 'Start/Pause' button again.
5.5 Child Lock Function
To activate the child lock, press and hold the designated button (refer to control panel diagram in your physical manual) for a few seconds. This will prevent accidental changes to settings or opening of the lid during operation. Repeat the action to deactivate.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Drum
Regularly clean the washing machine drum to prevent odor and residue buildup. You can run a 'Tub Clean' cycle (if available) or a hot wash cycle with a washing machine cleaner.
6.2 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
Remove the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under running water to remove any detergent or softener residue. Dry thoroughly before reinserting.
6.3 Cleaning the Filter
Locate and clean the lint filter regularly to ensure efficient operation. Refer to your physical manual for the exact location and removal instructions for the filter.
6.4 Exterior Care
Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
