Setup

1. Attaching the Brush Head:

Align the brush head with the metal shaft on the toothbrush handle and push it down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached before use.

2. Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge your SURI toothbrush. Connect the USB-C charge cable to the charging stand and plug it into a compatible USB power source. Place the toothbrush handle onto the charging stand. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours and provides over 40 days of battery life.

3. Installing the Magnetic Mirror Mount:

The magnetic mirror mount allows for convenient storage. Clean the desired smooth surface (mirror, tile) thoroughly. Remove the adhesive backing from the mount and firmly press it onto the surface. Allow it to set for a few hours before attaching the toothbrush.

Operating Instructions

1. Brushing Your Teeth:

  1. Wet the brush head and apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the toothbrush.
  3. Gently place the brush head on your teeth at a 45-degree angle to the gum line.
  4. Move the brush slowly in small circular motions, covering all surfaces of your teeth.
  5. The toothbrush features a 2-minute timer and a 30-second pacer, which will briefly pause to indicate when to move to the next quadrant of your mouth.
  6. After 2 minutes, the toothbrush will automatically turn off.

2. Brushing Modes:

The SURI 1.0 offers two powerful brushing modes:

  • Everyday Clean: A gentle mode suitable for daily brushing and new electric toothbrush users.
  • Polish: A more intense mode for deep cleaning and polishing.

To switch between modes, press the power button repeatedly while the toothbrush is on. The LED indicator will change color to show the active mode.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Toothbrush:

After each use, rinse the brush head and handle thoroughly under running water. Wipe the handle dry with a soft cloth. Do not submerge the entire toothbrush in water for extended periods.

2. UV Cleaning Travel Case:

The slim travel case features UV-C technology to clean your brush head in just 1 minute. Place the toothbrush with the brush head facing the UV light inside the case. Close the case and press the button to activate the UV cleaning cycle. The case also charges your brush when plugged in via USB-C.

3. Replacing Brush Heads:

It is recommended to replace your brush head every 3 months or sooner if the bristles appear frayed. SURI offers recyclable plant-based brush heads made from renewable cornstarch and castor oil. A free recycling service is available in the US for used brush heads.

To replace, firmly pull the old brush head off the handle. Push the new brush head onto the shaft until it clicks into place.

Troubleshooting

  • Toothbrush not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Place the toothbrush on the charging stand for 4 hours.
  • Reduced cleaning power: The brush head may be worn. Replace with a new SURI brush head.
  • Charging issues: Verify the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the charging stand and a working USB power source.
  • Water stains on handle: The aluminum body is IPX7 waterproof. To prevent water stains, ensure the toothbrush is dried after use and stored on the magnetic mount or in the travel case.
