2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.

4. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your beanglass Espresso Pod Machine:

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the machine and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers.
- Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, away from water sources.
- Fill Water Tank:
- Remove the 22oz (0.6L) water tank from the back of the machine.
- Rinse the tank with fresh water.
- Fill the tank with fresh, potable water up to the 'MAX' indicator line.
- Securely place the water tank back onto the machine.

- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Rinse (Priming):
- Place a large cup (at least 65ml capacity) under the coffee outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the machine. The brew buttons will blink as the machine heats up.
- Once the lights stop blinking and remain steady, press the Lungo button (large cup icon) to run a cycle without a capsule. This primes the pump and cleans the internal system.
- Discard the water. Your machine is now ready for use.
6. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the power button. The machine will heat up, indicated by blinking lights. Wait until the lights are steady.
- Insert Capsule:
- Lift the capsule insertion lever to open the brewing chamber.
- Insert an NS Original Line compatible capsule into the slot. Ensure it is placed correctly to avoid crushing.
- Close the lever firmly until it clicks into place.

- Place Cup: Place your desired cup on the adjustable cup tray. You can raise or lower the tray to fit different cup sizes.
- Select Brew Size:
- Press the Espresso button (small cup icon) for a standard espresso shot (approx. 35ml).
- Press the Lungo button (large cup icon) for a longer coffee (approx. 65ml).

- Stop Brewing: The machine will automatically stop once the selected volume is dispensed. To manually stop the flow at any time, press the active brew button again.
- Eject Capsule: After brewing, lift the capsule insertion lever to eject the used capsule into the internal container.

7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your machine.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Empty Drip Tray and Used Capsule Container: Remove the drip tray and the used capsule container. Empty any liquid and discarded capsules. Rinse both parts with warm water and mild detergent.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.

- Water Tank Cleaning: Clean the water tank regularly with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly to prevent mineral buildup.
- Descaling:
- Descaling is recommended every 3 to 6 months, depending on water hardness and usage.
- Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling product.
- Typically, this involves filling the water tank with descaling solution and water, then running several cycles through the machine without a capsule, followed by rinsing cycles with fresh water.
