1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your Nix Mini 3 Color Sensor, verify that all the following items are included:

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your Nix Mini 3. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device and a power source. The indicator light on the sensor will pulse red while charging and turn solid green when fully charged.

3.2 App Download and Installation

The Nix Mini 3 operates in conjunction with the free Nix Toolkit app. Download the app from your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS). Ensure your smartphone meets the minimum system requirements (Windows 10, macOS 10.15, Linux, Mac OS 14 Sonoma, Windows 11).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Performing a Color Scan

To scan a color, ensure your Nix Mini 3 is connected to the app. Place the sensor flat against the surface you wish to scan, ensuring no ambient light interferes with the sensor's aperture. Press the 'Scan' button within the app. The device will emit a light and capture the color data.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Connecting
