Operating Instructions
Display Configuration:
The docking station supports various display configurations depending on your operating system and laptop's capabilities.
Single 8K or Triple 4K Display:
The docking station can output a single 8K display at 30Hz or 4K at 120Hz (when the source is DP1.4). For triple display setups, it supports up to 4K resolution on each monitor.

Figure 4: Single 8K display setup. Ensure your host device and monitor support 8K/4K display and DP 1.4 protocol.
Windows Operating System (DP1.4):
For Windows systems, the docking station supports Extend Mode (Laptop A + B + C + D) allowing for different content on each display. It also supports Mirror Mode.

Figure 5: Windows Extend Mode with multiple displays.
macOS Operating System:
Due to limitations of the macOS system, it primarily supports Mirror Mode (MacBook A + A + A + A), where all external monitors display the same content as the MacBook. Extend Mode (MacBook A + B + B + B) is also supported, but the extended monitors will show the same image. macOS does not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for independent extended displays.

Data Transfer and Network:
Utilize the high-speed USB ports for quick data transfers and the Ethernet port for reliable network connectivity.
- USB 3.1 Ports: Transfer large files rapidly. For example, 20GB of files can be transferred in approximately 25 seconds using a USB 3.1 port.
- Gigabit Ethernet: Enjoy stable and fast internet speeds up to 1000Mbps, ideal for streaming, gaming, and large downloads.
