1. Safety Instructions

• Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

4. Setup

1. Connect the Brass Outlet Nozzle: Securely attach the brass outlet nozzle to the pump's air outlet.
2. Attach the Pump-Manifold Connector Tube: Connect one end of the provided connector tube to the brass outlet nozzle and the other end to the inlet of the air divider manifold.
3. Connect Air Lines: Attach your desired 1/4" air lines (not included) to the individual outlets on the air divider manifold. Each outlet can be adjusted independently.
4. Position the Air Pump: Place the air pump in a dry, well-ventilated area. For safety, it is recommended to position the pump above the water level of your aquarium or hydroponic system. If placing the pump below water level, install a check valve (not included) on each airline to prevent water backflow.
5. Connect Air Stones/Diffusers: Attach air stones, diffusers, or other air-driven accessories to the ends of your air lines within the water.
6. Power Connection: Plug the air pump into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

• Once properly set up and plugged in, the air pump will begin operating automatically.
• Adjust the individual valves on the air divider manifold to control the airflow to each connected air line. Turn the knobs clockwise to decrease airflow and counter-clockwise to increase airflow.

6. Maintenance

• Filter Cleaning: The pump features a built-in sponge filter (inlet filter) to purify incoming air. Regularly check and clean this filter to ensure optimal performance and prevent dust accumulation. To clean, remove the filter cover, take out the sponge, rinse it with clean water, and allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
• General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the pump with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Oil-Free Design: This pump utilizes an oil-free lubrication design, eliminating the need for oil changes or lubrication.
• Heat Dissipation: The aluminum alloy heat-radiating plates are designed for effective heat control. Ensure these plates are kept clear of obstructions for proper cooling.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Airflow:
  • Check if the pump is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
  • Ensure all connections (nozzle, connector tube, air lines) are secure and not kinked.
  • Verify that the air divider manifold valves are open.
  • Inspect the air stones/diffusers for clogs and clean if necessary.
• Low Airflow:
  • Check the air filter for clogs and clean it.
  • Ensure all air lines are free of kinks or blockages.
  • Confirm that the air stones/diffusers are not clogged.
  • Adjust the valves on the air divider manifold to increase airflow.
• Excessive Noise/Vibration:
  • Ensure the pump is placed on a stable, flat surface and the rubber feet are properly installed to absorb vibrations.
  • Check for any loose components or foreign objects near the pump.
  • Verify that the air filter is clean and not causing restricted airflow, which can lead to increased motor strain and noise.
• Pump Overheating:
  • Ensure the pump has adequate ventilation and is not covered.
  • Check for any blockages in the air lines or air stones that could cause excessive back pressure.
  • It is normal for air pumps to run warm due to high air pressure; however, excessive heat may indicate a blockage or lack of ventilation.
