5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Wiring Diagram

The receiver is installed between the power supply and the device you wish to control. Follow the wiring diagram below for proper connection.

  • Input: Connect the DC 6V-30V power supply to the input terminals (red wire for positive, black wire for negative).
  • Output: Connect the device to be controlled (e.g., a light) to the output terminals. The receiver provides a passive output, meaning it acts as a switch for your device's power circuit.

5.2 Pairing the Remote Control (Learning Button)

The receiver has a learning button to pair with the transmitters. Refer to the operating instructions for detailed pairing procedures for different modes.

6. Operating Instructions

The eMylo Wireless Remote Control Switch supports two working modes: Momentary Mode and Toggle Mode. The factory default mode is Toggle Mode.

6.1 Momentary Mode

  • To set: Press the learning button on the receiver once. The indicator light will turn on. Then, press the desired button on the remote control. The indicator light will flash and turn off, indicating successful pairing in Momentary Mode.
  • Operation: Press and hold the remote button to turn the device ON. Release the button to turn the device OFF.

6.2 Toggle Mode (Factory Default)

  • To set: Press the learning button on the receiver twice. The indicator light will turn on. Then, press the desired button on the remote control. The indicator light will flash and turn off, indicating successful pairing in Toggle Mode.
  • Operation: Press the remote button once to turn the device ON. Press the same button again to turn the device OFF.

6.3 Clearing Paired Transmitters

To clear all paired transmitters from the receiver's memory, press and hold the learning button on the receiver for approximately 8 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly and then turns off. All previously paired remotes will be cleared.

6.4 Remote Control Range

The remote control offers a range of 20-30 meters in an open area without interference. Obstacles such as walls or other electronic devices may reduce the effective range.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the receiver and transmitters clean and dry.
  • Avoid exposing the devices to direct sunlight, high humidity, or corrosive environments.
  • Replace the battery in the transmitter when the remote range decreases or it stops responding.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Device not responding to remote:
    • Check if the receiver is properly powered (DC 6V-30V).
    • Ensure the device connected to the output is receiving power and is functional.
    • Verify the remote control battery is not depleted.
    • Re-pair the remote control with the receiver following the instructions in Section 6.
  • Reduced remote control range:
    • Replace the remote control battery.
    • Ensure there are no significant obstructions between the remote and the receiver.
    • Minimize interference from other 433Mhz devices.
  • Indicator light not working:
    • Check the power supply to the receiver.
    • If the device is still functional, the indicator light may be faulty, but the switch should still operate.
