  • To power on the device, slide the Power Switch (red switch on the side) to the 'ON' position. The LED indicator will light up green, indicating standby mode.
  • To power off, slide the Power Switch to the 'OFF' position.
6.2. Basic Metal Detection
  1. With the device powered on and in standby mode (green LED), slowly sweep the detector over the area or person to be scanned.
  2. When a metal object is detected, the LED indicator will turn red, and the device will emit an alarm (sound or vibration, depending on the selected mode).
  3. Continue sweeping to pinpoint the exact location of the metal object.

The handheld security scanner can effectively scan for luggage or carry-on items, knives, pistols, screwdrivers, and other metal products.

6.4. Adjustable Sensitivity

The detector features a High/Low Sensitivity Switch. Pressing this switch during detection will set the device to low sensitivity, causing it to respond only to larger metal objects (e.g., knives, pistols) and ignore smaller metals (e.g., rings, keys, coins).

For optimal detection, ensure the device is continuously scanning the surface. If the detector remains stationary on a metal object, the detection signal may automatically decrease.
