1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your SHINTYOOL 21V Lithium Battery (4.0 Ah) and Charger. Please read these instructions carefully before initial use and retain them for future reference. This product is designed to provide stable power for compatible power tools, such as leaf blowers.

2. Product Features

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before using the battery for the first time, it is essential to fully charge it. This helps to optimize battery performance and longevity.

  1. Connect the charger adapter to a standard 100-240V AC power outlet.
  2. Connect the charger's output plug to the charging port on the battery.
  3. Observe the LED indicator on the charger. A red light typically indicates that charging is in progress.
  4. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn green.
  5. Disconnect the charger from the battery and then from the power outlet.

Important Note:

  • Do not charge the battery for more than 6 hours. Overcharging can significantly reduce battery life.
  • Avoid charging the battery overnight.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Attaching the Battery to a Tool

  1. Ensure the power tool is turned off and disconnected from any power source.
  2. Align the battery with the battery slot on your compatible power tool.
  3. Slide the battery firmly into the slot until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated to prevent accidental detachment during operation.

4.2 Removing the Battery from a Tool

  1. Ensure the power tool is turned off.
  2. Locate the battery release button (typically red) on the battery or tool.
  3. Press and hold the release button, then slide the battery out of the tool.

4.3 Monitoring Battery Status

While operating, some tools may have their own battery indicators. For charging status, refer to the LED indicator on the charger as described in Section 3.1.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance is crucial for extending the life and performance of your SHINTYOOL 21V Lithium Battery.

  • Do Not Open: Never attempt to open the battery casing. This can lead to damage, injury, and voids the warranty.
  • Environmental Protection: Protect the battery against continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and excessive moisture. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Physical Damage: Do not damage the battery with sharp objects or subject it to severe impacts.
  • Proper Disposal: Do not discard this product with household waste. Dispose of it according to local regulations for lithium-ion batteries.
  • Avoid Overcharging: Overcharging will reduce the life of the battery. Always unplug the charger from the battery once charging is complete (when the LED turns green). The best charging time is not more than 6 hours.
  • Regular Use: Do not leave the battery dormant for long periods. We recommend using the battery at least once every two to three weeks to maintain its health.
  • Storage: When not being used for an extended time, always remove the battery pack from your tool. Store the battery in a partially charged state (around 50%) if storing for long periods.
  • Cleaning: Keep battery contacts clean and free of debris. Use a dry cloth to wipe the battery and charger.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your battery or charger, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
