The remote control is designed to provide convenient access to the functions of your compatible Gree air conditioner. Familiarize yourself with the layout and buttons as shown below.

Setup: Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Warning:

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the indoor unit of your air conditioner when operating. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.

• Power Button (●): Press to turn the air conditioner ON or OFF.
• MODE Button: Press repeatedly to cycle through available operating modes: Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat (if applicable to your AC unit).
• FAN Button: Press to adjust the fan speed. Options typically include Auto, Low, Medium, High.
• TEMP ▲ / ▼ Buttons: Use these buttons to increase or decrease the desired temperature setting.

Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's indoor unit.
  • Confirm the remote control is pointed directly at the air conditioner's receiver.
• Display on remote is dim or blank:
  • Batteries may be low. Replace them with new AAA batteries.
• Certain functions do not work:
  • This replacement remote may not support all advanced functions of your original air conditioner remote. Refer to the "Important Notes" section.
  • Ensure your air conditioner model supports the specific function you are trying to use.
