1. Introduction

This coat rack is designed to provide a convenient and space-saving solution for organizing coats, hats, scarves, handbags, and other accessories in various settings such as bedrooms, hallways, entrances, and offices. It features an adjustable height design and eight sturdy hooks for optimal functionality.

2. Safety Information

  • Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.
  • Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 6.6 pounds (3 kg) per hook or for the entire unit.
  • Distribute weight evenly across the hooks to maintain stability.
  • Do not allow children to climb on the coat rack.
  • Place the coat rack on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.

4. Assembly Instructions

The WANGMUXIA Freestanding Coat Rack is designed for quick and easy assembly without the need for additional tools. Follow these steps:

  1. Attach the Base Legs: Take the three base legs and screw them into the designated holes at the bottom of the lowest main pole section. Ensure they are tightened securely to form a stable triangular base.
  2. Assemble Main Pole Sections: Connect the main pole sections by screwing them together. The coat rack features metal screw holes for a secure connection. You can choose to use 2, 3, or all 4 sections to adjust the overall height.
  3. Install the Hooks: Screw the 8 individual hooks into the pre-drilled holes along the main pole sections. Ensure each hook is firmly attached.
  4. Final Check: Once all parts are assembled, gently shake the coat rack to ensure all connections are secure and the unit is stable.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Hooks

The coat rack features 8 sturdy hooks designed to hold various items. Hang coats, jackets, hats, scarves, handbags, and umbrellas. For optimal stability, distribute items evenly around the rack.

5.2 Adjustable Height

The coat rack's modular design allows for adjustable height configurations by using different numbers of pole sections:

  • 2 Sections: Approximately 39.5 inches (100 cm) – Suitable for placement beside furniture or for younger children.
  • 3 Sections: Approximately 54.2 inches (138 cm) – Ideal for children's use.
  • 4 Sections: Approximately 68.8 inches (175 cm) – Standard height for adult use.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the coat rack with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wood finish.

    Solution: Re-tighten the individual hooks by screwing them clockwise until secure.
  • Issue: Difficulty assembling sections.
    Solution: Ensure components are aligned correctly before twisting. Do not force parts together; if resistance is met, re-align and try again.
