4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the provided power charger to the Type-C port on your tablet.
  2. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  3. Allow the tablet to charge for at least 3-4 hours before first use, or until the battery indicator shows a full charge.

4.2 Powering On

  1. Press and hold the Power Button located on the side of the tablet for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  2. The Windows 11 logo will appear, indicating the device is booting up.

4.3 Initial Windows 11 Setup

Upon first boot, you will be guided through the Windows 11 setup process. Follow the on-screen prompts to:

  • Select your region and language.
  • Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  • Accept the license terms.
  • Create or sign in with a Microsoft account.
  • Set up a PIN or password.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Sleep Mode

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button until the screen turns on.
  • To Power Off: Go to the Start Menu, select the Power icon, and choose "Shut down." Alternatively, press and hold the Power Button, then slide down to shut down.
  • Sleep Mode: Briefly press the Power Button to put the tablet into sleep mode. Press it again to wake the device.

5.2 Basic Navigation

  • Touchscreen: Use gestures for navigation, such as tapping to select, swiping to scroll, and pinching to zoom.
  • Keyboard and Touchpad: Attach the detachable keyboard for a traditional laptop experience. Use the touchpad for cursor control and the keys for typing.

5.3 Wi-Fi Connectivity

The EZpad 8 supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz) for faster internet access.

Insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF Card Port to expand your storage up to 128GB.

  1. Gently insert the TF card into the designated slot until it clicks into place.
  2. The tablet will recognize the new storage. You can access it via File Explorer.
