Operating Instructions

Unlocking with Admin PIN:

1. Press and hold down the '1' button, then press the 'Key' button once.
2. When the red and green LEDs start blinking together, enter your Admin PIN.
3. Press the 'Key' button once to unlock your drive.

Setting Up/Changing User PIN (in Admin Mode):

1. While unlocked in Admin Mode, press the 'Key' button twice.
2. Enter your new User PIN.
3. Press the 'Key' button twice. The blinking blue LED will switch to a blinking green LED.
4. Re-enter the User PIN.
5. Press the 'Key' button twice more to confirm and save.

Enabling Read-Only Mode:

1. Unlock your drive with your PIN.
2. Press the 'Key' button three times.
3. When the solid green LED switches to blinking green and blue, press '7', then '6', followed by the 'Key' button to save.
4. The green and blue blinking LEDs will change to a solid red, then a solid green, indicating Read-Only Mode is enabled.

Returning to Read-Write Mode:

1. Unlock your drive with your PIN.
2. Press the 'Key' button three times.
3. When the solid green LED switches to blinking green and blue, press '7', then '9', followed by the 'Key' button to save.

Maintenance

Resetting Your KP200:

Resetting the KP200 should be a last resort, as it will completely wipe all data stored on your drive and require new PINs to be created.

1. Press and hold down the '7' button, then press the 'Key' button. Release both simultaneously. The red and green LEDs will alternate on and off.
2. Press the '9' button three times.
3. Press and hold down the '7' button, then press the 'Key' button. Release both simultaneously. The blinking LEDs will switch to solid before the green LED turns off and the red LED fades out.
4. To create a new User PIN after a reset, press the 'Key' button once. When the LEDs are solid red and blinking green, press the 'Key' button two more times and enter your new User PIN. Confirm by re-entering the PIN and pressing the 'Key' button twice.

Troubleshooting

LEDs Not Lighting Up:

If the keypad LEDs do not light up when a button is pressed, the internal battery may be discharged. Plug the device into a USB port on your computer to charge it. Once charged, the LEDs should function normally.
