4.3 Propane Gas Connection

The grill is compatible with both 1lb propane cylinders and 20lb propane tanks. A gas valve and hose are included for both options.

  1. Ensure all burner control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
  2. For a 1lb cylinder: Screw the cylinder directly onto the gas connector on the side of the grill until hand-tight.

6. Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your grill and ensure optimal performance.

6.1 Cleaning the Cooking Grates

  1. After each use, while the grill is still warm, use a grill brush to remove food residue from the stainless steel grates.
  2. For a deeper clean, remove the grates once cooled and wash with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinstalling.

6.2 Cleaning the Grease Tray

The removable grease tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential flare-ups.

  1. Ensure the grill is completely cool.
  2. Slide out the grease tray from the front of the grill.
  3. Dispose of collected grease and wash the tray with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Reinsert the clean grease tray.

6.3 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe down exterior stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool, which can scratch the finish.

6.4 Storage

When not in use, especially for extended periods:

  • Ensure the grill is clean and dry.
  • Disconnect the propane cylinder/tank.
  • Fold the legs for compact storage.
  • Store in a dry, protected location. A grill cover (sold separately, e.g., CV700) is recommended for protection against elements.
