Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Battery Tender Jump Starter. Connect the included Type-C charging cable to the unit's input port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The display will indicate charging status. A full charge ensures optimal performance.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

1. Ensure the jump starter unit is fully charged.
2. Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories.
3. Connect the red (+) clamp of the smart alligator clips to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
4. Connect the black (-) clamp of the smart alligator clips to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
5. Plug the smart alligator clips connector into the jump starter unit's jump start port. The unit will perform a self-check and indicate readiness.
6. Start the vehicle's engine.
7. Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the smart alligator clips from the jump starter unit, then disconnect the black (-) clamp from the vehicle battery, followed by the red (+) clamp.

Inflating Tires

1. Connect the air hose to the tire valve stem. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leakage.
2. Turn on the unit and set the desired tire pressure using the control buttons. The unit supports up to 140 PSI.
3. Press the start button to begin inflation. The unit will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.
4. Disconnect the air hose from the tire valve stem.

Using the LED Flashlight and SOS Strobe

The unit features an ultra-bright LED flashlight and an emergency SOS strobe function. Press the dedicated flashlight button to cycle through modes: On, SOS Strobe, and Off. This feature is useful for roadside emergencies or working in low-light conditions.

Charging Personal Devices

The jump starter is equipped with two fast-charging USB ports (Type-A and Type-C) to charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices. Simply connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate USB output port on the unit.

Maintenance

• Recharging: For optimal battery life, recharge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not used.
• Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Cable Care: Inspect the smart alligator clips and charging cables regularly for any signs of damage. Replace if necessary.

Troubleshooting

Unit Not Turning On

• Ensure the unit is fully charged.
• Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

Vehicle Not Jump Starting

• Check that the smart alligator clips are securely connected to the correct battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
• Ensure the jump starter unit has sufficient charge.
• Verify that the vehicle's battery is not completely dead or severely damaged.
• Clean any corrosion from the vehicle's battery terminals.

Tire Inflator Not Working or Inflating Slowly

• Check that the air hose is securely attached to the tire valve stem.
• Ensure the unit has sufficient charge.
• Verify that the desired pressure is set correctly.
• Check for any kinks or blockages in the air hose.
