Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Lifetime Appliance Parts 330Dolly Heavy Duty Foldable Push Cart Dolly. Designed for transporting heavy items, this platform cart features a robust steel construction and a 660 lbs load capacity. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation and retain it for future reference.
Safety Instructions
- Maximum Load Capacity: Do not exceed the stated maximum load capacity of 660 lbs (299 kg). Overloading can cause damage to the dolly and lead to injury.
- Secure Load: Always ensure items are securely placed on the platform and will not shift or fall during transport.
- Even Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the platform to maintain stability.
- Clear Path: Ensure your path is clear of obstacles before moving the dolly.
- Handle Grip: Maintain a firm grip on the handle while pushing.
- Folding Mechanism: Exercise caution when folding and unfolding the handle to avoid pinching fingers.
- Surface Use: Use on flat, stable surfaces. Avoid steep inclines or uneven terrain when heavily loaded.
Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before assembly:
- 1x Foldable Platform Dolly Base
- 4x Swivel Caster Wheels (2 fixed, 2 swivel)
- Mounting Hardware (bolts, washers, nuts)
- 1x Small Wrench (for wheel installation)
Setup and Assembly
The Lifetime Appliance Parts 330Dolly requires minimal assembly, primarily attaching the wheels.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
- Identify Wheel Types: The dolly comes with two fixed wheels and two swivel wheels. The fixed wheels are typically installed at the front (handle side) and the swivel wheels at the rear for optimal maneuverability.
- Attach Wheels: Align each wheel's mounting plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the dolly platform. Insert the bolts through the holes, secure with washers and nuts. Tighten all nuts firmly using the provided wrench. Ensure all wheels are securely fastened before use.
- Unfold Handle: Step on the folding mechanism release bar (usually located at the base of the handle) and lift the handle into its upright position until it locks securely.

Operating Instructions
- Unfolding the Dolly: To prepare the dolly for use, place your foot on the folding mechanism release bar at the base of the handle. While holding the handle, gently pull it upwards until it clicks into its fully upright and locked position. Ensure the handle is stable before loading.
- Loading Items: Place items centrally on the non-slip platform surface. Distribute the weight as evenly as possible to maintain balance and prevent tipping. Do not exceed the 660 lbs (299 kg) weight capacity.
- Transporting Items: Grip the padded handle firmly with both hands. Push the dolly forward, guiding it in the desired direction. The swivel wheels at the rear allow for smooth turns and maneuverability.
- Folding for Storage: To fold the dolly, ensure it is unloaded. Step on the folding mechanism release bar and gently push the handle downwards until it lies flat against the platform. This compact design allows for easy storage.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the platform and frame with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish or non-slip surface.
- Wheel Inspection: Periodically check the wheels for wear and tear. Ensure they spin freely and are securely attached. Tighten any loose bolts or nuts.
- Lubrication: If wheels become stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the wheel axles and swivel mechanisms.
- Storage: Store the dolly in a dry place to prevent rust, especially if used in damp environments. Its foldable design allows for compact storage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dolly is difficult to steer or push. | Wheels are dirty, damaged, or not properly lubricated. Load is unevenly distributed. | Clean wheels, check for damage, and lubricate axles. Redistribute the load evenly. |
| Handle does not lock into upright position. | Folding mechanism is obstructed or not fully engaged. | Ensure no debris is blocking the mechanism. Push the handle firmly until it clicks into place. |
| Dolly feels unstable. | Overloaded or unevenly distributed load. Loose wheel attachments. | Reduce load or redistribute weight. Check and tighten all wheel bolts. |
