5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Water Resistance: The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming in shallow water, and general daily use. Do not press buttons underwater. Avoid exposure to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the water seals.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods.
- Chemicals: Keep the watch away from solvents, detergents, perfumes, and other chemicals that may damage the casing or strap.
- Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained. The battery type is CR2016.
6. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have one). If issues persist, a battery replacement might be needed, or contact support.
- Time is incorrect: Re-adjust the time and date settings as described in Section 4.1.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately stop using the watch and seek professional repair. Water damage is typically not covered under warranty.
