Setup and Installation
The POWRUI Multi Plug Outlet Surge Protector is designed for easy installation directly into a standard duplex wall outlet.
- Prepare the Wall Outlet: Ensure the existing wall outlet is a standard duplex receptacle. For a flush fit, you may need to remove the existing wall plate.
- Check Compatibility: This product is compatible with standard duplex and decor outlets. It is NOT compatible with USB receptacles or GFCI outlets due to potential interference with reset buttons or wider spacing. Ensure there is at least 1 inch of space between the two parallel sockets of your wall outlet for proper fit.
- Remove Protective Post (if necessary): The plastic post on the back of the unit prevents use in USB and GFCI receptacles. If installing into a standard duplex outlet, this post may need to be cut off if it interferes with the outlet's design, though it is generally designed to fit without modification in standard outlets.
- Plug In the Unit: Align the prongs of the surge protector with the wall outlet and firmly push the unit into place.
- Secure the Unit: Use the provided mounting screw to secure the unit to the wall outlet's center screw hole. This ensures stability and a flush fit.

Using AC Outlets and USB Ports
Once installed, your surge protector is ready to power and charge your devices.
- AC Outlets: Plug your electronic devices into any of the 6 AC outlets. The 3-sided design and wide spacing (2.1 inches) allow for larger power adapters to be used simultaneously without obstruction.
- USB-A Ports: Connect your USB-A compatible devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, smartwatches) to the two USB-A ports for charging.
- USB-C Port: Connect your USB-C compatible devices to the USB-C port for charging. Note that this port does not support devices requiring 14~22V charging voltage.

Night Light Operation
The integrated LED night light features a smart sensor and adjustable brightness.
- Dusk-To-Dawn Sensor: The night light will automatically turn on when ambient lighting is insufficient (dusk/dark) and turn off when the area becomes bright enough (daylight).
- Adjustable Brightness: Touch the sensor area on the top of the unit to cycle through three brightness levels (1st, 2nd, 3rd) or to turn the night light off manually.
