Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Shop-Vac Wet/Dry Vacuum before first use.

  1. Unpack Components: Remove all parts from the packaging and ensure nothing is missing.
  2. Attach Power Head: Place the power head onto the collection tank, aligning it properly. Secure the power head by closing the latches on both sides of the tank.
  3. Install Filter for Dry Pickup: For dry vacuuming, install the Cartridge Filter over the filter cage, ensuring it fits snugly. If using a Filter Bag, slide it onto the inlet port inside the tank.
  4. Install Filter for Wet Pickup: For wet vacuuming, remove the Cartridge Filter and install the Foam Sleeve over the filter cage. Ensure it covers the cage completely.
  5. Attach Hose: Insert the larger end of the hose into the vacuum port on the front of the power head until it clicks securely into place.
  6. Attach Accessories: Connect the desired accessory (e.g., Gulper Nozzle, Crevice Tool) to the smaller end of the hose.
  7. Wall Mounting (Optional): If desired, use the provided Wall Mount Bracket to hang the vacuum for convenient and uncluttered storage. Follow instructions provided with the bracket for secure installation.

Operating Instructions

Dry Vacuuming

  1. Ensure the Cartridge Filter is properly installed. A Filter Bag can also be used for fine dust collection.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
  4. Begin vacuuming dry debris.
  5. When finished, turn the switch to 'OFF' and unplug the unit.

Wet Vacuuming

  1. Remove the Cartridge Filter and any Filter Bag. Install the Foam Sleeve over the filter cage.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
  4. Begin vacuuming liquids. The vacuum will automatically shut off when the tank is full.
  5. When finished, turn the switch to 'OFF' and unplug the unit. Empty the collection tank immediately after wet pickup.

Blower Function

  1. Disconnect the hose from the vacuum port.
  2. Insert the hose into the blower port located on the back of the power head.
  3. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The vacuum will now function as a powerful air blower (up to 55 CFM).
  5. When finished, turn the switch to 'OFF' and unplug the unit.
