4.2. Battery Care and Storage

  • Charge batteries regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. It is recommended to charge them at least once every three months.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If the gloves will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries from the gloves.
  • Do not puncture, incinerate, or short-circuit the batteries.

5. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Gloves not heating
  • Batteries not connected or dead.
  • Power button not pressed correctly.
  • Faulty battery or heating element.
  • Ensure batteries are fully charged and correctly installed/connected.
  • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate.
  • Try swapping batteries between gloves to isolate the issue. If one glove works, the other's battery or heating element may be faulty.
Short battery life
  • Using high heat setting.
  • Batteries not fully charged.
  • Aging batteries.
  • Lower the heat setting to extend usage time.
  • Ensure batteries are fully charged before use (5-6 hours for regular charge, 12 hours for first charge).
  • Lithium batteries degrade over time. Consider replacing old batteries if performance significantly drops.
Touchscreen not responding
  • Insufficient contact with screen.
  • Screen protector interference.
  • Ensure the conductive tip of the glove makes firm and full contact with the device screen.
  • Some thick screen protectors may reduce touchscreen sensitivity.
