Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your dehumidifier for first-time use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where dehumidification is needed. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow. The unit is suitable for spaces up to 2000 square feet.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet.
  4. Drainage Options: Your dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:
    • Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The unit will collect water in its 0.5-gallon water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and the bucket full indicator light will flash red. Empty the tank and reinsert it to resume operation.
    • Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, attach the included 43-inch drain hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a floor drain or a larger container, ensuring the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.

Operating Instructions

Learn how to operate your dehumidifier effectively using its various functions.

Power On/Off:

  • Press the Power Button to turn the unit on or off.

Setting Humidity Level:

  • Press the Humidity Button (HUM) repeatedly to set your desired humidity level, ranging from 20% to 95%. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached.

Operating Modes:

Press the Mode Button to cycle through the following modes:

  • Sunny Mode: Automatically controls humidity to 60% RH.
  • Rainy Mode: Automatically controls humidity to 40% RH.
  • Continuous Drying Mode: Provides continuous dehumidification with high fan speed.
  • Sleeping Mode: Dims the control panel lights and intelligently adjusts humidity within 57% - 63% for quiet operation.

Fan Speed Adjustment:

  • Press the Speed/Lock Button to toggle between High and Low fan speeds.

Timer Function:

  • Press the Timer Button to set an auto-on or auto-off timer from 1 to 24 hours.

Child Lock Function:

  • To activate the child lock, press and hold the Speed/Lock Button for 3 seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the Speed/Lock Button again for 3 seconds.

Quiet Operation:

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your dehumidifier.

Emptying the Water Tank:

  • When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and the "Bucket Full" indicator will light up.
  • Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
  • Empty the collected water.
  • Slide the empty tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

  • It is recommended to clean the air filter every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
  • Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  • Locate and remove the air filter (refer to product diagram if needed).
  • Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.

Cleaning the Unit:

  • Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.
  • Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging it back in.
