3. Safety Instructions

• Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
• Do not immerse the base unit in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the humidifier from the power outlet before filling, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not block the mist outlet or air intake vents.
• Use only clean, cool tap water. For best results and to prevent white dust, use distilled or demineralized water.
• Do not add water to the mist outlet.
• The auto shut-off feature is a safety mechanism; do not attempt to bypass it.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the humidifier from its packaging and ensure all components are present: base unit, water tank, and top cover.
2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is not directly on carpet or near heat sources, direct sunlight, or furniture that could be damaged by moisture.
3. Fill Water Tank:
   • Remove the top cover from the water tank.
   • Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water. For optimal performance and to minimize mineral buildup (white dust), distilled or demineralized water is recommended. Do not fill past the MAX fill line.
   • Replace the top cover securely.
4. Add Essential Oils (Optional): Locate the essential oil tray on the side of the base unit. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the aroma pad. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operation

1. Power On/Off: Rotate the dial knob clockwise from the "OFF" position to turn the humidifier on. Rotate it counter-clockwise to turn it off.
2. Adjust Mist Output: Continue rotating the dial knob clockwise to increase the mist output. Rotate it counter-clockwise to decrease the mist output. The mist level can be adjusted continuously from low to high.
3. Adjust Mist Direction: The 360° rotating nozzle on top of the unit allows you to direct the mist flow to your desired area. Simply turn the nozzle to adjust.
4. Low Water Indicator: When the water level in the tank is low, the indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will automatically shut off. Refill the tank to resume operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Unplug the unit before any cleaning.

Daily Maintenance:

• Empty the water tank and base reservoir.
• Rinse the tank and base reservoir with clean water.
• Wipe all surfaces dry with a clean cloth.

Weekly Maintenance (Descaling):

• Unplug the humidifier.
• Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
• Pour 2-3 tablespoons of white vinegar into the water tank and base reservoir.
• Fill the tank with warm water (not hot) and let it sit for 20-30 minutes to loosen mineral buildup.
• Use a soft brush or sponge to clean the inside of the tank and the base reservoir, paying attention to the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc in the base).
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the smell of vinegar is gone.
• Wipe all surfaces dry.

Storage:

When not in use for an extended period, clean the humidifier thoroughly as per weekly maintenance instructions. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing in a cool, dry place.
