Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Oline ErgoAir chair. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

  1. Attach Caster Wheels to Base: Insert the five caster wheels (F) into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base (E). Push firmly until they click into place.
  2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder (D) into the center hole of the assembled star base (E).
  3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate (G) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion (B). Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws from the hardware pack (I) using the provided Allen wrench.
  4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests (C) to the sides of the seat cushion (B) using the designated screws from the hardware pack (I). Ensure they are oriented correctly (left and right).
  5. Attach Backrest to Seat: Connect the backrest assembly (A) to the seat cushion (B) using the remaining screws. Ensure the backrest is securely fastened.
  6. Attach Headrest: Slide the headrest (H) into the designated slots at the top of the backrest assembly (A). Adjust to your preferred height.
  7. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder (D) that is already inserted into the star base. Press down firmly to secure the connection.

Operating Instructions

Your Oline ErgoAir chair offers multiple adjustment options to customize your seating experience for optimal comfort and ergonomic support.

1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat cushion.

  • To raise the seat: While seated, lift the lever and slightly lift your weight off the seat. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever at the desired height.
  • To lower the seat: While seated, lift the lever and apply downward pressure to the seat. The seat will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

2. Reclining Backrest and Tilt Lock

The chair features a 2:1 synchro reclining backrest with a tilt lock function, allowing you to recline up to 135 degrees.

  • To recline: Pull the same lever used for height adjustment outwards. Lean back to the desired angle.
  • To lock the recline: Push the lever inwards to lock the backrest in an upright or reclined position.
  • Tilt Tension Adjustment: Rotate the round knob located under the seat, at the front of the mechanism plate. Turn clockwise to increase tilt tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

3. Dynamic Lumbar Support

The dynamic lumbar support responds to the pressure you place on it, pivoting to keep you supported. While not manually adjustable in position, its adaptive nature provides continuous support.

5. Adjustable Headrest

The headrest can be adjusted vertically to support your neck and head regardless of your sitting position.

  • To adjust: Grasp the headrest and slide it up or down to your preferred height. It will click into place at various increments.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your Oline ErgoAir chair.

  • Cleaning:
    • For the mesh back and fabric seat, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Blot gently and allow to air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
    • For plastic and metal parts, wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
  • Caster Wheels: Clean any debris (hair, dust) from the caster wheels regularly to ensure smooth rolling.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading of the fabric and mesh.
