4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Before powering on, ensure all volume controls (Main Volume, CH1 Gain, CH2 Gain) are set to their minimum positions.
- Press the power switch located on the rear panel. The power LED on the front of the speaker will illuminate.
- To power off, set all volume controls to minimum and then press the power switch.
4.2 Volume Control
- CH1 Gain / CH2 Gain: Adjust the input level for each channel. Start with these at minimum and slowly increase until the signal is strong but not clipping (indicated by the OVERLOAD LED).
- Main Volume: Controls the overall output level of the speaker. Adjust this to achieve the desired listening volume.
4.3 Feedback Eliminator
The Thump215 features a built-in Feedback Eliminator to reduce unwanted audio feedback. Press the 'FB ELIMINATOR' button on the rear panel to activate this feature. This helps to automatically identify and suppress feedback frequencies.

4.4 Music Ducking Mode
The Music Ducking mode automatically lowers the volume of background music when a signal is detected on Channel 1 (e.g., a microphone for announcements). Press the 'DUCKING' button to activate this feature. This is useful for presentations or events where spoken word needs to take precedence over music.

Clean the speaker cabinet with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the speaker.

When not in use, store the Thump215 in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided stand bag for the speaker stand to protect it during transport and storage.
5.3 Cable Care
Regularly inspect all cables for damage. Avoid kinking or sharply bending cables. Store cables neatly coiled to prevent tangles and damage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Thump215, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
