The UMIDIGI Bison 2 is IP68/IP69K rated, making it waterproof and dustproof. It is also MIL-STD-810G certified for drop resistance up to 1.8 meters. While designed for durability, avoid intentional abuse or exposing the device to extreme conditions beyond its specified ratings.

2. Battery Care
The 6150mAh battery provides extended usage. To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully discharging the device regularly. Use only UMIDIGI-approved batteries and chargers. The device supports 18W fast charging.
3. Cleaning Instructions
To clean the device, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen or rugged casing. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the device to water or dust.
Troubleshooting
1. Device Lag or Unresponsiveness
If the device becomes slow or unresponsive, try restarting it. If the issue persists, clear the cache of problematic apps or perform a factory reset (back up your data first). The MediaTek Helio P90 Octa-Core processor provides solid performance for most tasks, but heavy gaming or numerous background apps can impact responsiveness.
2. Battery Usage Data Not Available
Some users may find that detailed battery usage data is not always available in the settings. This is a known characteristic for some devices and does not necessarily indicate a problem with battery performance. The 6150mAh battery is designed for long-lasting power.
3. System Updates
The UMIDIGI Bison 2 runs on Android 12. While security updates may be provided periodically, major Android version upgrades are not guaranteed for all off-brand devices. Check for available updates in 'Settings > System > System update'.
4. Screen Issues
If the screen is unresponsive or has display issues, try restarting the device. Ensure the screen protector (if any) is properly applied and not interfering with touch input. For persistent issues, contact customer support.
