Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the freezer for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.

Location

Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on all sides for proper air circulation.

Electrical Connection

Connect the freezer to a dedicated 120 Volt, 60 Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

Initial Startup

After positioning, allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, the freezer will begin to cool. Allow 24 hours for the freezer to reach its optimal operating temperature before loading with food.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The freezer features an external temperature control panel. Adjust the temperature setting using the controls to achieve desired cooling levels. Refer to the display for current temperature.

Dual Functionality (Freezer/Refrigerator)

This unit offers dual functionality, allowing it to operate as either a freezer or a refrigerator. Use the control panel to switch between modes as needed. Consult the display for the active mode.

Quick Freeze Button

Activate the Quick Freeze function when adding a large quantity of fresh food to rapidly lower the internal temperature and preserve food quality. This function will automatically deactivate after a set period or can be manually turned off.

Door Lock and Handle

The freezer is equipped with a safety handle and a door lock for secure storage. Use the provided key to lock the door when necessary, preventing unauthorized access.

Internal Storage

Maintenance

Cleaning

Defrosting

This freezer features automatic defrosting. However, if excessive frost builds up, manual defrosting may be required. To manually defrost, unplug the unit, remove all food, and allow the frost to melt naturally. Wipe dry before restarting.

Power Outage

In case of a power outage, keep the freezer door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Food can remain frozen for several hours depending on the ambient temperature and how full the freezer is.
