Setup
- Connect the Keyboard: Plug the USB connector of the keyboard into an available USB 2.0 port on your computer.
- PS/2 Connection (Optional): If your computer supports PS/2 and you prefer this connection type, use the included PS/2 adapter. Connect the USB end of the keyboard to the adapter, then plug the adapter into the PS/2 keyboard port on your computer.
- Driver Installation: The keyboard is plug-and-play and typically does not require specific drivers for basic functionality. Your operating system will automatically detect and install the necessary generic drivers.
- Verify Connection: Once connected, the keyboard should be immediately functional. Test by typing in a text editor. The Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock indicator lights (located above the numeric keypad) should illuminate when activated.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard
- General Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and frame. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to blow away dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- Deep Cleaning (Keycaps): For thorough cleaning, you can carefully remove the keycaps using the included keycap puller. Wash the keycaps with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and ensure they are completely dry before reattaching them to the keyboard.
