3.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective films.
  • Remove all transit bolts from the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be removed before use. Keep them for future transport if needed.

3.2 Location Requirements

  • Place the washing machine on a firm, level floor. Uneven surfaces can cause vibration and noise.
  • Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and maintenance.
  • The location should have access to a water supply (cold water tap with 3/4" thread) and a drain point.
  • Avoid placing the machine in areas prone to freezing temperatures.

3.3 Connecting Water Supply

  • Connect the inlet hose to the cold water tap and the corresponding inlet valve on the back of the washing machine.
  • Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. Do not overtighten.
  • Open the water tap fully and check for any leaks.

3.4 Connecting Drain Hose

  • Insert the drain hose into a standpipe or secure it over the edge of a sink using the provided drain hose hanger.
  • Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked. The end of the drain hose must be at a height between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor.

3.5 Leveling the Machine

  • Use a spirit level to check if the machine is perfectly level.
  • Adjust the adjustable feet at the bottom of the machine by turning them clockwise or anti-clockwise until the machine is stable and level.
  • Once leveled, tighten the lock nuts on the feet to secure them in position.

3.6 Initial Run

  • Before the first wash, run a short cycle (e.g., Quick 15) without laundry and detergent to clean the drum and internal components.
  • This helps remove any manufacturing residues.
