4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically requires no tools. Follow these steps carefully:

2. Attach the Seat Pad: Drape the seat pad over the assembled frame, ensuring the fabric loops and straps align with the frame's attachment points. Secure all fasteners, buckles, and hook-and-loop patches.
3. Install Battery for Vibration: Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the seat. Insert one C battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
4. Attach the Toy Bar: Insert the ends of the toy bar into the designated slots on the side of the seat frame until they click into place. Ensure it is securely attached and cannot be easily dislodged.
5. Attach Toys: Hang the rattle toy and monkey bead chaser toy from the loops on the toy bar.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Switching Between Rocker and Stationary Seat

To switch from rocker to stationary seat mode, locate the front kickstand at the base of the rocker. Extend the kickstand forward until it locks into a stable, upright position. To return to rocker mode, retract the kickstand.

5.2 Activating Vibration

The vibration unit is integrated into the seat. To activate the soothing vibrations, locate the button on the side of the seat (as shown in Figure 4) and press it. Press the button again to turn the vibration off.

5.3 Adjusting Recline Positions

The seat features two recline positions. To adjust the recline, locate the buttons below the toy bar on each side of the seat. Press these buttons simultaneously and adjust the seat to the desired recline angle (forward or back). Ensure both sides are locked into position before use.

5.4 Harness Usage

Always secure your child with the 5-point harness. Place the child in the seat, bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders, and the waist straps around their hips. Connect the buckles securely at the center. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug but comfortable fit, allowing no more than one finger to fit between the strap and the child.

5.5 Toy Bar Interaction

The toy bar provides entertainment with a colorful rattle and a monkey bead chaser toy. Encourage your child to reach for and bat at the toys to promote fine motor skills. The toy bar can be removed for easy access to the child or when not needed.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning the Seat Pad

The seat pad is removable and machine washable. Follow these steps:

1. Remove the seat pad from the frame.
2. Fasten all buckles on the seat restraint and seat pad.
3. Fasten all hook-and-loop patches to their corresponding patches.
4. Machine wash with cold water on a gentle cycle.
5. Do not use bleach.
6. Tumble dry using low heat.
