Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Microsoft Audio Dock, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
No Audio Output
  • Ensure the Audio Dock is properly connected to your laptop via USB-C.

  • Verify that the Audio Dock is selected as the default audio output device in your computer's sound settings.
  • Ensure the mute button on the Audio Dock is not active (red light off).
Microphone Not Working / Echo during calls
  • Ensure the microphone is not muted on the Audio Dock or in your communication software (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Verify the Audio Dock is selected as the default microphone input device in your computer's sound settings and communication software.
  • Check for and install any available firmware updates for the Audio Dock.
  • Reduce speaker volume if echo persists, or try moving the dock further from walls/reflective surfaces.
Monitors Not Displaying / Flickering
  • Ensure display cables (HDMI, USB-C) are securely connected to both the Audio Dock and the monitors.
  • Verify your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
  • Update your laptop's graphics drivers.
  • Try connecting one monitor at a time to isolate the issue.
Laptop Not Charging / Insufficient Power
  • Ensure the Audio Dock's power supply is correctly connected and plugged into a working outlet.
  • Confirm your laptop's power requirements are within the dock's power delivery capabilities (e.g., 60W passthrough). Some high-power laptops may require their original charger.
  • Try disconnecting other high-power USB devices from the dock temporarily.
General Connectivity Issues (e.g., glitchy with Android)
  • Restart your computer/device and the Audio Dock.
  • Ensure all drivers and operating system updates are installed on your computer.
