1. Important Safeguards

Please read all instructions before assembly and use of the Fisher-Price Portable Baby Bassinet Deluxe On-The-Go Projection Dome. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Age and Weight Limit: Use only with a child who is unable to push up on hands and knees, pull up, or sit unassisted. Maximum weight recommendation is 25 pounds.
• Suffocation Hazard: Infants can suffocate in gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet, or on soft bedding. Use ONLY the pad provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• Fall Hazard: To prevent falls, do not use this product once your child can push up on hands and knees, pull up, or sit unassisted.
• Strangulation Hazard: Strings can cause strangulation. NEVER place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. NEVER suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.
• Always place the bassinet on a firm, horizontal surface.
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly.

3. Setup

3.1 Unfolding the Bassinet

1. Place the folded bassinet on a flat, stable surface.
2. Press the red button located on the side of the frame.
3. Gently pull the sides outwards until the legs extend and click into place. Ensure all four legs are fully extended and locked.
4. Push down on the center of the bassinet until the base is completely flat and secure.
5. Position the mattress pad securely inside the bassinet.

3.2 Folding the Bassinet for Storage/Transport

1. Remove the mattress pad from the bassinet.
2. Locate the red button on the side of the frame. Press and hold this button.
3. While holding the button, push the sides of the bassinet inwards to collapse the frame.
4. Fold the legs inward until they are flat against the main body of the bassinet. Ensure all parts are securely folded.
5. Use the integrated carry handles for easy transport.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Mobile with Music, Sounds, and Projection

The motorized mobile provides entertainment and soothing features for your baby. It plays up to 20 minutes of gentle music and sounds and includes a starlight projection feature.

• To activate music and sounds, locate the control panel on the mobile unit and press the music button.
• To activate starlight projection, press the light button on the mobile unit.
• The mobile also features loops for attaching additional toys to engage your baby.

4.2 Canopy and Mesh Sides

The bassinet features an overhead canopy and breathable mesh sides for comfort and protection.

• Canopy: The canopy provides UPF20 sun protection. Adjust the canopy to shield your baby from direct sunlight when outdoors.
• Mesh Sides: The breezy mesh sides ensure proper ventilation and allow you to keep a clear view of your baby while also keeping insects out.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your bassinet.

• Mattress Pad: The mattress pad is wipeable. For thorough cleaning, the fabric sheet covering the mattress can be removed and machine washed. Refer to the care label for specific washing instructions.
• Frame and Fabric: The main fabric components and frame can be hand washed. Use mild soap and water, then air dry. Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
• Electronic Components: Wipe the mobile unit and any electronic parts with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.

6. Troubleshooting

• Mobile not working: Ensure 3 AA batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace batteries if necessary.
• Bassinet not folding/unfolding smoothly: Ensure the red button is fully pressed and held during the process. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
• Canopy not staying in place: Verify that the canopy is securely attached to its designated points on the frame.
