Setup
Battery Installation
The Sofirn SC18 comes with a pre-installed 18650 Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, ensure the battery's protective film (if any) is removed. To access the battery compartment, unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight. Insert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Screw the tail cap back on securely.
Charging
The flashlight features a built-in USB-C charging port. Locate the rubber flap covering the USB-C port on the side of the flashlight. Open the flap and connect the included USB-A to USB-C charging cable to a compatible power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port). The indicator light on the side switch will blink red during charging and turn solid green once fully charged. A full charge typically takes about 1 hour.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the side e-switch once to turn the flashlight ON or OFF.
Mode Cycling
When the flashlight is ON, press and hold the side e-switch to cycle through the main brightness levels: Low, Medium, High, and Turbo. Release the button to select the desired brightness. The flashlight has a memory function and will automatically turn on to the last used brightness level (Low, Medium, or High) when powered on again.
Special Modes
- Moonlight Mode: From the OFF state, press and hold the side e-switch for approximately 1 second to activate Moonlight mode (3 lumens).
- Turbo Mode (Instant Access): From either ON or OFF state, double-click the side e-switch to instantly activate Turbo mode (1800 lumens).
- Strobe Mode: From either ON or OFF state, triple-click the side e-switch to activate Strobe mode. Press the button once to exit Strobe mode and return to the previous state.
Lockout Function
To prevent accidental activation, especially when carrying the flashlight in a pocket or backpack, use the lockout function. From the OFF state, rapidly click the side e-switch 4 times. The flashlight will flash twice to signal that it is now in lockout mode. To unlock, click the switch 4 times again. While locked, you can still press and hold the switch to temporarily access Moonlight mode.
The 4-click lockout feature provides security protection, preventing accidental activation when the flashlight is stored in a bag or pocket.
Maintenance
The Sofirn SC18 is designed for durability and minimal maintenance. Keep the flashlight clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the USB-C port's rubber flap is securely closed to maintain its IPX8 waterproof rating. Troubleshooting
Accidental Activation / Battery Drain

Light Not Turning On
