Setup

Setting Your Personal Combination

1. Open the security box. The default combination is typically 0-0-0.
2. Locate the small lever or switch on the inside of the lock mechanism. This is usually marked 'A' and 'B' or similar.
3. While the box is open, move the lever from position 'A' to position 'B' (or as indicated by the lock mechanism).
4. Set your desired 3-digit combination by rotating the dials to your chosen numbers.
5. Move the lever back from position 'B' to position 'A'. Your new combination is now set.
6. Scramble the dials and test your new combination before closing the box.

Attaching the Security Cable

1. Thread the security cable through the designated slot on the side of the security box.
2. Loop the cable around a fixed, immovable object (e.g., a car seat frame, a table leg, a beach umbrella pole).
3. Secure the cable by passing one end through the loop of the other end, then close the box. The cable will be held in place when the box is locked.

Operating Instructions

Opening the Security Box

1. Rotate the combination dials to your personal 3-digit code.
2. Press the release button or turn the knob (depending on your model) to open the lid.

Closing and Locking the Security Box

1. Close the lid firmly until it clicks shut.
2. Scramble the combination dials to a random set of numbers. This locks the box and prevents unauthorized access.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Cannot Open the Box with My Combination

• Double-check that you are entering the correct 3-digit combination.
• Ensure each dial is precisely aligned with the indicator mark.
• If the combination was recently changed, try the old combination in case the change was not fully registered.
• If you have forgotten your combination, there is no master key or override. The combination cannot be reset without knowing the current code.

Dials are Stiff or Hard to Turn

• Clean the dials and surrounding area to remove any dirt or debris.
• Apply a small amount of graphite powder or a silicone-based lubricant to the dials to improve movement. Avoid oil-based lubricants.
