3. Setup

Initial Charging:

1. Before first use, fully charge your Norsk Lithium battery using a compatible Norsk Lithium 2A 12.6V charger.
2. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then to the battery's charging port.
3. The LED indicator on the battery will show charging progress. Refer to the charger's manual for specific charging light indicators.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

4. Operating Instructions

Connecting to Devices:

1. Ensure your device (e.g., mechanical flasher) is compatible with a 12V power source.
2. Connect the appropriate power cable from your device to the battery terminals. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
3. For USB-powered devices, plug your USB cable into one of the two built-in USB ports.

Checking Battery Status:

• Press the 'Press for Status' button located on the top of the battery.
• The LED lights will illuminate to indicate the current charge level:
  • Green lights: Full to good charge.
  • Yellow/Orange light: Moderate charge, consider recharging soon.
  • Red light: Low charge, recharge immediately.

5. Maintenance

Charging Guidelines:

• Always use the specified Norsk Lithium 2A 12.6V charger. Using an incompatible charger can damage the battery and void the warranty.
• Do not overcharge the battery. The internal Battery Management System (BMS) will protect against overcharging, but it's good practice to disconnect once fully charged.
• Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.

Storage:

• Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• For long-term storage, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50-70% capacity. Avoid storing it fully discharged or fully charged for extended periods.
