4. Operating Instructions

Fueling the Machine:

  • This machine uses a two-stroke engine. It requires a mixture of gasoline and two-stroke engine oil. Refer to the engine manufacturer's recommendations for the correct mixing ratio (typically 25:1 or 50:1).
  • Mix fuel in a separate, approved container.
  • Ensure the engine is cool before refueling.
  • Open the fuel tank cap slowly to release any pressure.
  • Fill the fuel tank carefully, avoiding spills. Do not overfill.
  • Securely close the fuel tank cap.

Starting the Engine:

  1. Place the machine on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Ensure the cutting head is clear of any obstructions.
  3. Set the choke lever to the "START" or "CHOKE" position (if applicable).
  4. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the bulb.
  5. Hold the machine firmly with one hand on the handle.
  6. Pull the starter cord slowly until resistance is felt, then pull sharply and quickly. Repeat until the engine starts.
  7. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
  8. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before beginning operation.

Operating the Mower:

  • Maintain a firm grip on the handles.
  • Push the mower forward at a steady pace. Do not force the machine through thick vegetation.
  • For best results, overlap cutting paths slightly.
  • Adjust the throttle to control engine speed and cutting power.

  • Press the engine stop switch to the "OFF" position.
  • Wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop before approaching the cutting head.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your lawn mower. Always ensure the engine is off and cool, and the spark plug wire is disconnected before performing any maintenance.

After Each Use:

  • Clean the Machine: Remove grass clippings, dirt, and debris from the engine, cutting head, and guards. Use a brush or compressed air. Do not use water directly on the engine.
  • Inspect Blade: Check the cutting blade for sharpness, damage, or cracks. Replace if necessary.
  • Check Fasteners: Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight.

Periodic Maintenance:

  • Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug regularly. Replace if worn or fouled.
  • Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter as needed, especially in dusty conditions. A clogged air filter can reduce engine performance.
  • Fuel Filter: Check and replace the fuel filter periodically.
  • Gearbox Lubrication: Refer to the engine manual for lubrication requirements of the gearbox (if applicable).

Storage: When storing the machine for an extended period, drain the fuel tank or use a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel degradation. Clean the machine thoroughly and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
