Setup
1. Battery Installation
The SARO GT5000 Pro remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Connection
This is an Infrared (IR) remote control. For most compatible BuzzTV and SARO set-top boxes, no special pairing is required. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote control and the IR receiver on your device.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Remote
To maintain the remote control's appearance and functionality:
- Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the remote.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning pads, as these can damage the remote's finish or internal components.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
