3. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

  • Always ensure all connections are tight and secure before and during use.
  • If moving the tent after installation, ensure all four sides are lifted and moved simultaneously to prevent structural damage.
  • Do not leave the canopy up overnight or under adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds, or snow. The tent is designed for light rain and sun protection only.
  • Polyethylene fabric is not fireproof. Keep the tent away from all sources of fire, open flames, and heat.
  • Ensure the installation area is clear of overhead power lines and other obstructions.
  • Always use the provided ropes and stakes to secure the tent to the ground.
  • In rainy conditions, regularly check for water accumulation on the canopy top. Accumulated water can cause the tent to collapse.

5. Setup Instructions

Assembly typically requires two or more adults. Follow these steps carefully for proper installation.

  1. Prepare the Area: Choose a flat, level surface free from debris and obstructions. Ensure adequate space for the 10x20ft footprint plus additional clearance for ropes and stakes.
  2. Assemble the Roof Frame: Connect the shorter steel poles and connectors to form the rectangular roof structure. Pay attention to the labels on the poles and connectors to ensure correct orientation.
  3. Attach the Canopy Cover: Drape the polyethylene canopy cover over the assembled roof frame. Ensure it is centered and evenly distributed. Secure the cover to the frame as per the specific design (e.g., ties, hook-and-loop fasteners).
  4. Assemble the Leg Poles: Attach the longer leg poles to the roof frame connectors. Gradually raise the structure, ensuring all connections are firm.
  5. Secure the Frame: Once the full frame is upright, insert the ground stakes through the footplates of the leg poles and into the ground. Use the provided ropes to further secure the frame by tying them to anchor points and staking them into the ground at an angle.
  6. Install Sidewalls: Attach the 6 removable sidewalls using the integrated hook-and-loop fasteners. Each sidewall can be installed or removed individually as needed for ventilation or privacy.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your gazebo.

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy and sidewalls with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: Inspect the steel frame periodically for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the poles and connectors.
  • Storage: After each use, especially after events, disassemble the tent and store it in a dry, cool place. Ensure all fabric components are completely dry to prevent mold and mildew. Prompt storage after use helps prolong its service life.
  • Inspection: Before each setup, inspect all poles, connectors, fabric, ropes, and stakes for wear, damage, or missing parts. Replace any damaged components immediately.

8. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

  • Tent Instability: Ensure all frame connections are tight. Verify that ropes are securely tied and stakes are firmly driven into the ground. In windy conditions, additional weights (not included) may be necessary at the base of the poles.
  • Water Accumulation on Canopy: This can occur during heavy rain. Regularly check the canopy and gently push up from underneath to release accumulated water. This tent is not designed for heavy rainfall; disassemble in such conditions.
  • Difficulty Assembling Poles: Ensure you are using the correct poles and connectors as indicated in the assembly diagram. Some force may be required to snap poles into place, but avoid excessive force that could bend or break components.
  • Sidewalls Not Attaching Properly: Check that the hook-and-loop fasteners are clean and free of debris. Ensure the sidewalls are oriented correctly.
