6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

To turn on: Press the Power button (⑁). The display will show "88888" then "0.00g".
To turn off: Press and hold the Power button (⑁) for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an auto-off function to save battery.

6.2 Unit Conversion

The scale supports multiple units of measurement. To change the unit:

Press the M (Mode) button repeatedly to cycle through the available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lb), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweights (dwt), carats (ct), grains (gn), taels (tl), and milliliters (ml).
The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

6.3 Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of the contents.

Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
Press the T (Tare) button. The display will reset to "0.00g" (or the currently selected unit).
Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the weight of the added items.
To clear the tare, remove all items from the platform and press the T button again.

6.4 PCS (Piece Counting System) Function

The PCS function allows you to count multiple items of uniform weight.

Turn on the scale and ensure it is in weighing mode (not PCS mode).
Press and hold the PCS button until a sample size (e.g., "25", "50", "75", "100") appears on the display.
Place the corresponding number of sample items on the platform (e.g., if "25" is displayed, place 25 items).
Press the PCS button again to confirm the sample. The display will now show the count of the items.
You can now add more items, and the scale will display the total count.
To exit PCS mode, press the M (Mode) button.

6.5 Calibration

The scale is factory calibrated and generally does not require user calibration. However, if you suspect inaccuracies, the scale can be calibrated.
